From our pastures to your plate
Homegrown beef
We are a cow-calf farm pasture raising our beef herd in New Jersey.
In 2018, we added American Wagyu, a breed of cattle that is known for their intense marbling, to our herd.
This method of farming allows us to keep a primary herd of cows which we bred using artificial insemination (A.I). Breeding using A.I. allows us to manage which bull we want to use genetically, and to try to avoid injury by not having a bull on the farm.
Our herd eats pasture grass, our hay and our Clover Valley premium feed. This grain is given to everyone free choice. This mix is a vegetarian feed that has no hormones or antibiotics. Its main purpose is to ensure everyone is getting their daily amounts of vitamins and minerals to keep everyone healthy. Along with proper nutrition, the cows are given a low-stress environment with all the sunshine they want.
Our finishing steers are hay and grain-finished, with Clover Valley feed. The combination of grass and grain finished beef will yield ideal marbling for superior flavor and tenderness. Feeding grain and grass to finish enriches beef flavor over 100% grass-finished beef.
We currently offer our beef in bulk by the 1/4, 1/2 or whole steer. We offer this four times a year: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
If you are new to ordering your beef this way, that’s okay! We walk you through the steps and help you choose which cuts of beef to order. When ordering beef this way, you are 100% in control of what you get to order. All of your steaks, roasts, ground beef and specialty cuts will be aged, vacuum sealed and clearly labeled.

We added honey bees to our farm. By keeping bees on our farm, we improve pollination for our crops, resulting in better harvests and the bees get to enjoy all the pollen from the diverse crops we plant for the cows. You can find our flavorful Pastures Edge Honey available for purchase in our farm market.
Farm Fresh Eggs & Poultry
Our laying hens are pasture raised. We raise a mix of all different breeds, so you can expect to see brown, white, green and blue eggs in your cartons.
Fresh Chicken & Turkey
Enjoy our seasonal pasture-raised chickens come summer and our turkeys for your Thanksgiving meal.
Our birds are all raised free range enjoying pasture life while having access to our special Clover Valley Farm feed that is packed with minerals and vitamins for their optimum health. Plus! all that sunshine also means extra Vitamin D!

Our Services
Custom Feed Mix
Our feed is made with locally grown corn and soybeans and is fortified with our Clover Valley minerals & vitamins blends to ensure the health of all livestock.
You will be feeding your animals the same premium feed that we feed our animals.
Feed that is available:
Poultry: Layer, Broiler, Starter, Turkey, Duck, All Flock
Cattle: Beef and Dairy
Pig, Goat feed & Deer corn is also available.
All feed is made into 50lbs bags.
Bulk Minerals
We offer a full line of livestock minerals, custom mineral packs, other ingredients for Total Mix Rations.
